Do You Believe In Psychics?

I was walking along, minding my business in downtown San Francisco last night when a young, professional looking woman approached me and gave me her card (see picture). She seemed so sweet and friendly so I did something I hardly ever do, which was take it.

Strange woman: Hi Miss, I want to give you my card.
Me: (staring at her blankly)
Strange woman: I'm a psychic. I don't usually do this, but you have a really strong energy.
Me: Oh. Thanks.
Strange woman: No really, I can feel it. It's all around you.

When we parted I noticed her card says she "specializes in all problems," which means she really has the potential to help me out in just about any arena of my life. I've never considered going to a psychic before, but then again, how do you know when you should? Does she know how I can get an iPhone before it's released? Does she know why my computer sometimes gets insanely hot and sometimes stays cool? Does she know the name of the cute guy who smiles at me on the bus? Or does she just want to make a quick buck off my insecurities?

Whatever she does, punctuation is not her strong point. There shouldn't be an apostrophe in the word "readings". I actually make it a point to not do business with people who can't spell or punctuate. Except eBay shenanigans with my brother, but that's a whole other story.

I have to agree with colormesticky. A simple punctuation mistake can really knock your integrity down a notch! Like those spam emails that pretend to be your bank or credit card and try to get you to click on a link and enter info ... they make their emails look almost identical to the real ones, complete with logos, etc. except they'll write stuff like "Act quikly, because your information may have bin hacked by other's already!" Um yeah, nice try. Besides, you can get your (pretty accurate, IMO) horoscopes from Dear anyday - for free! Smiling

well any psychic that advertises her services either by her building, on the streets or in the newspaper is 100% a sham.

i would at least lend a bit more credibility to the ones who only gain clients through word-of-mouth and provide their services at their condo in a non-lame environment.

also, you get what you pay for. do not expect much for $10. oh and you cant be right all the time. i'm sure they're right for at least 50% of their predictions. Really its just perception. Some people choose to focus their perception/sense of awareness more than others.
